Taylor Landing is a city in Jefferson County, Texas, United States. It had an estimated population of 212 in 2008.[1]
The city, formerly part of Port Arthur's extraterritorial jurisdiction, voted to incorporate in an election held on September 10, 2005. A total of 124 votes were cast, 80 (64.5%) in favor of incorporation and 44 (35.5%) against.
Taylor Landing is part of the Beaumont–Port Arthur Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Taylor Landing is located at (29.862220, -94.131081), west of Port Arthur in Jefferson County.
The Taylor Landing city government consists of a mayor (Jim Durkay) and two commissioners (Ed Boone and Larry Guidry). All ran unopposed in the May 2007 election. Durkay and Guidry are serving two year terms, while Boone will serve for one year before facing another election.[2]
Public education in the city of Taylor Landing is provided by the Hamshire-Fannett Independent School District.
